Turn a batch of URLs into a clustered digest brief

Paste up to 12 sources (one per line as Title | URL | Theme). The tool classifies each source by domain type, groups them into your themes, and builds an outline for a Quick brief / Standard digest / Deep dive. Flags low-credibility or URL-less sources for verification. Structured research, not fabricated research — the tool never invents claims or fetches URLs.

Working tool

Turn a batch of URLs into a clustered research digest brief.

Paste sources one per line as "Title | URL | Theme". Get a clustered outline for the length you want, a source register with credibility flags, sources to verify, and an approval record. Structured research, not fabricated research.

Who it is for

Newsletter writers who curate a weekly digest and want a fast way to cluster sources, flag weak ones, and draft an outline before publishing.

A clustered outline scoped to the target length, a source register with domain and credibility flags, a "sources to verify" list, and an exportable approval record in Markdown + JSON.

Product flow

  1. 1Parse sources into title, URL, and theme; auto-fill missing titles as "Source N".
  2. 2Classify each URL by domain heuristic into research / editorial / blog / social / video / other with a credibility hint.
  3. 3Cluster sources by theme; take the first N clusters up to the length-appropriate section count.
  4. 4Build an angle-specific hook and outline; emit findings + approval record with a needs-review default decision.

Inputs

  • Digest topic and audience.
  • Sources one per line as Title | URL | Theme (URL and Theme are optional but improve the output).
  • Angle (practical, analytical, contrarian, trend, personal), target length, and reviewer name.

Output artifact

  • Digest outline with hook line, section headings, and per-source callouts for each theme.
  • Source register listing every source with domain type, credibility, URL, and theme.
  • "Sources to verify" list highlighting low-credibility domains and any source without a URL.
  • Approval checklist and a downloadable approval record in Markdown + JSON.

What's coming next

  • Optional URL fetch + freshness check so credibility is grounded in actual content, not just domain.
  • Read RSS/OPML feeds directly so the digest can pull the last N items from each source.
  • One-click promotion of the outline into the Newsletter Research Desk n8n package.

Guardrails

  • Never fetches URLs — classifications and credibility hints are heuristics on the URL string only, not on the actual content.
  • Never fabricates sources, claims, or statistics; the outline only references what the creator pasted.
  • Approval record defaults to needs-review; the tool never marks a digest as approved.

Connects with Creator OS

Your Research Digest Brief doesn't stay in this tab. Save digest briefs to Creator OS to track which sources actually made it into published issues.

  • Per-issue source register kept alongside the approved draft.
  • Trend view of which themes recur across weeks — feeds future digest planning.
  • One-click upgrade path to the Newsletter Research Desk workflow package.
