CreatorLab went through a coherence pass this month. The goal wasn't a redesign — the design was fine. It was to make the site say only true things, and to make the promise sharp enough to defend.
The big moves
- Sharper promise: human-approved AI workflows for creator operations, not generic 'build your own AI system.'
- Honest workflow status: recipe preview vs importable beta, so nothing claims to import when it doesn't.
- First importable package: the Newsletter Research Desk shipped as a real n8n workflow.
- Pro reframed around founding-supporter value: the Creator Dashboard, live sessions, and workflow drops, with a one-time founding price.
- Visible founder proof, a changelog, and these lab notes.
A lot of this was subtraction: removing 'coming soon' language from high-intent pages, cutting overclaims about importability, and being honest about what's live in Pro today versus on the roadmap.
If a file can't import today, call it a recipe or a preview. Don't overclaim — trust is the product.
Next: a Make.com blueprint for the Research Desk, a short demo video, and more workflows packaged the same honest way.
Keep going
